I’m impressed by the designer’s work. Given the clients’ aesthetic of a “curated” experience where their surroundings are like store displays, she found great solutions. She’s also very articulate & expressive, more so than other designers you have featured. I enjoyed the video.

Some home runs and also some ? The central stair case is a home run. The home office with no doors or true privacy is a total miss - it’s an office for show only. Also agree that it’s odd to display wine with a sight line from the front entrance. Wine storage with a direct light source on the bottles is a terrible idea if you actually care about your wine. And that pantry with all the open shelving…just no. It will be a hot mess all the time. Especially with kids in the house.

All the comments make me realize how much taste differ from a person to another one… all I love is the tones of space and it’s new! For me anything that’s contemporary or modern is cold and reminds me office. At home, the last thing I want to think about it it’s work.

What a fabulous reno! I love the new windowsills and the concrete seats!! Can you source them, please? My brick exterior has mostly red, but is dotted with brown and black bricks. We traded out old wooden windows painted white for black metal clad which are 2 over 2 like yours. Which color should I use for trim and Hardee (back of house). We're traditional people.

Entry steps-"Dr. Seuss"" wrong. Japanese. Living- "Minimal furniture"...yeah right. You literally cannot fit another single piece of furniture of any kind in that room. Kitchen-"Although not large. Again...yeah right. Dining room-"Focal point...floating console table". Wrong!...The focal point to the entire home is the fireplace....again...cramped, NARROW! Primary Dressing Room-"Jewel". Oh really...what gemstone might that be? Primary Bath-"Calm". Not achieved by using terrazzo, black and white slabs with thick veining. This has to be Toronto...NARROW!! You all seem used to do it...even when you can build your own home! The home and materials are very nice but I have a serious problem with people who think they're designers and architects. Your channel has a tendency of doing this.
